Returns Policy

My Yellow Canary Limited (we, us or our) offer a simple returns policy for all products purchased through our site (our site) (subject to limited exceptions as detailed below).

Please follow the following guidelines in order to exercise your right to return product(s) back to us for a refund or exchange: 

  • You are welcome to return any product for a refund, or you can exchange it for a different product within 7 (seven) days of receiving the product(s) from us pursuant to your original order.
  • Returned products must be unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging with all labels, tags and barcodes still attached. The original packaging must be undamaged and unmarked. In short, we require the product(s) to be in the same condition you received them in and in such a conditions so as to enable us to resell the products as new.
  • The shipping cost of returns will be paid by the purchaser of the goods on all orders including any customs on international orders.
  • We must be notified of all returns of products in advance of them being returned to us. To do this please call us on 0207 511 3813.
  • We do not accept the following which are excluded from this returns policy: 
  1. Products that for any reason, including that of hygiene, cannot be resold even with appropriate cleaning / sterilisation (for example, jewellery);
  2. Products sent back with an odour, for example, cigarette smoke;
  3. Products that are made to measure, custom made, bespoke or clearly personalised;
  4. Products that have been worn or that are sent back with evidence of being worn; and
  5. All Products that are “sales items”.
  • If you purchased the product(s) as part of an offer (for example, 3 for the price of 2) then all products within the offer must be returned to us in order to qualify for a return / refund.
  • Please note the product(s) are your responsibility until they are received and signed for by us. Please ensure all products are securely packaged to avoid the possibility of damage in transit and are sent back to us using a trusted delivery method. If you are returning products via Royal Mail or a different courier, please ensure you keep all proof of postage for your return. We also advise that you use a recorded service so that parcel can be tracked. For the avoidance of doubt, we are not liable for any items that go missing with other couriers.
  • Please note that the acceptance of the return of product(s) for refund or exchange is in our absolute and sole discretion.

The returns policy only applies if you return the product, and we receive it, within 7 (seven) days of the date you received the product(s) from us pursuant to your original order and the product(s) are in full compliance with this returns policy.

We ask that you let us now in writing with your returned product(s) if you would like to exchange the product(s) or receive a refund. If you do require an exchange please tell us the product name and size you would like from the website.

Once your return parcel arrives back we will then dispatch the alternative product you have requested or issue a refund back to the card you originally paid with. Please note refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving the product(s) that have been returned; or

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights including, in particular, those in relation to product(s) that are faulty, damaged or mis-described.
